Note
CV (Coefficient of variation) is equal to the Sd (Standard deviation) divided by average of reference results multiplied by 100.
Reference methods used are:
Röse Gottlieb for fat,
Kjeldahl for protein,
Polarimetry or enzymatic method for lactose,
Heating Oven for total solids,
Cryoscope for FPD.

Printer option for all Lactoscan versions
For print out of results and for service status of Lactoscan, a thermal printer can be connected to the device. Lactoscan has been adapted and tested to operate with the following thermal printers: (you may order your device with a printer or connect the printer producers)
